UCF announces naming rights deal with 3MG for football stadium tower club

The UCF Athletics Association agreed a 5-year, $1.75M naming rights deal with 3MG Roofing & Solar for a "section of premium seating" inside FBC Mortgage Stadium's tower, according to Jason Beede of the ORLANDO SENTINEL. The agreement "renames the third-floor premium seating area," previously known as the Tower Club, the 3MG Club. This marks the "first time that the Tower Club has had a naming-rights partner." The deal "goes into effect" this season and runs through '26-27, with the UCFAA receiving "$350,000 annually through the agreement." It also makes 3MG a "platinum sponsor of the UCF College of Business Professional Selling Program." This is not the first deal between UCFAA and 3MG Roofing & Solar, which is a division of 3MG Solutions of Winter Park. In January '21, 3MG became the "official roofing and solar partner" of UCF Athletics. 3MG "made a run at the stadium naming rights" ahead of the ‘21 season. However, the deal, which was worth $20M over 12 years, ultimately "fell through after multiple attempts to get it approved" by the UCF BOT (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 6/15).
