Activision Blizzard's Brandon Snow leaving as company's esports head

Activision Blizzard Head of Esports Brandon Snow will leave the company at the end of the month to pursue a new opportunity. Snow was promoted back in July to his current role, taking on oversight of the Overwatch League and Call of Duty League when Activision’s Johanna Faries started focusing exclusively on development of the next Call of Duty game. Snow joined Activision Blizzard Esports (ABE) in '18 as CRO after serving as NBA Senior VP/Team Marketing & Business Operations. During his time with Activision, Snow led negotiations to bring on blue-chip brands like Coca-Cola for OWL. ABE will start an executive search immediately to replace Snow. In the interim, Activision Blizzard Chief Administrative Office Brian Bulatao will take on many of the role’s responsibilities, and will consolidate the ABE leadership team around VP/League Administration Matt Kliszewski, VP/Global Brand Marketing Kristin Connelly and Head of Global Partnerships Jack Harari (all reporting to Bulatao effective March 1). Sean Miller and Daniel Tsay will lead day-to-day operations for OWL and CDL, respectively, reporting to Kliszewski. Emma Hu (ABE China) and Sean Smith (TMBO/Strategy) will now report to Harari. Chelsea Delbridge (content) will report to Connelly.
