Former U.S. Rep. TOM ROONEY was named successor to ALEX WALDROP as President & CEO of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association. Waldrop will retire at the end of '21. In the coming months the NTRA plans to open an office in DC, where it will focus primarily on federal legislative and policy issues. Rooney will also become President of Horse PAC, the NTRA’s political action committee (NTRA)....Citi promoted RYAN DJABBARAH to Head of Sponsorships, Entertainment and Experiential, leading Citi’s sponsorship efforts across sports, music, arts and culture, as well as Experiential Marketing for Citi’s Global Public Affairs group (SBJ)....JEREMY AGUERO is joining the Raiders' organization in an official capacity, "stepping down as principal analyst at Applied Analysis after 24 years with the Las Vegas-based advisory services firm" to become Raiders Chief Operations & Analytics Officer (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 10/22)....Populous named JENNIFER WILLIAMS Architect and Associate Principal (Populous).
