Homebuilder signs presenting sponsorship of Waste Management Open

Scottsdale-based homebuilder Taylor Morrison has “signed a long-term agreement to be the presenting sponsor” of the PGA Tour Waste Management Phoenix Open, becoming just the second presenting sponsor in event history, according to Jeff Gifford of the PHOENIX BUSINESS JOURNAL. Taylor Morrison in ’20 “sponsored the general admission venue that overlooks the 12th hole and is open to the public.” That activation “will continue this year, and the venue will be revamped for the upcoming event as the Taylor Morrison Fairway House.” The company added that as part of its deal, it “plans to donate a house to a charity that will be announced in the coming months” (BIZJOURNALS.com, 10/21).
