ESPN lands rights to Monday night NFL Wild Card game

ESPN has landed a five-year deal with the NFL to air the Monday night Wild Card game beginning with the ’21 season playoffs. ESPN Chair Jimmy Pitaro made the announcement today at the CAA World Congress of Sports. The inaugural Monday night playoff game will be played on Jan. 17. The traditional broadcast on ESPN and ABC will be supplemented with a MegaCast production, including having Peyton and Eli Manning providing their analysis of the game on ESPN2 and ESPN+.
