ESPN Secures South American Rights to Bundesliga

Germany’s Bundesliga soccer league has signed a five-year South American broadcast rights deal with ESPN. Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 matches will stream on Star+, a Latin American streaming service owned by Disney, with three matches per match day also set to televise on ESPN channels.

The deal covers all Spanish-speaking countries in South America. ESPN began its six-year U.S. broadcast deal with the Bundesliga last year, with the majority of matches streaming on ESPN+.

Spain’s La Liga, the Belgian Pro League, and the Scottish Premiership are among the other international soccer leagues to stream matches on ESPN+ in the U.S.
