Tennessee's Andrew Donovan joining Altius to work on NIL

ANDREW DONOVAN, the Univ. of Tennessee's compliance and regulatory affairs chief for the last six years, has left the Volunteers to join Altius Sports Partners. Donovan, whose title was Senior Associate AD/Regulatory Affairs, will become Altius VP/Collegiate Partnerships. He was also serving as President of the National Association for Athletics Compliance. Donovan will start at Altius on July 12 and he will work with the company’s clients on the name, image and likeness laws, NIL compliance and how to build policies and programming. Altius Founding Partner and CEO CASEY SCHWAB said Donovan’s position is new. The Volunteers are one of the firm’s clients. Donovan has previously worked at LSU and Marshall.
