What I'm Bingeing On with Medium Rare co-Founders Adam Richman & Joe Silberzweig

Heated battles of NBA 2K21 help Richman and Silberzweig take a break from their arduous working hoursMEDIUM RARE

Medium Rare co-Founders ADAM RICHMAN and JOE SILBERZWEIG have been making headlines of late, leading the agency behind Buccaneers TE ROB GRONKOWSKI’s first collection of NFT-backed digital trading cards, which generated $1.75M in sales. Still, they find pieces of time to indulge themselves, and they've shared their binge-worthy favorites with us in this week's "What I'm Bingeing On" feature. Some responses have been edited for clarity and brevity.

ADAM'S PICKS:

  • I'm a foodie, but more importantly, I really feel like, right now, it's my responsibility to go out to these restaurants that were absolutely destroyed during COVID. I'm out at least five nights a week. A couple of my favorites in N.Y. right now are CAMPAGNOLA, 4 CHARLES PRIME RIB and BENJAMIN STEAKHOUSE.
  • If I have a minute and really need a distraction from work, I like to fire up the Xbox and play NBA 2K21. Joe and I have a few heated battles online. Joe's normally in L.A.; I'm in N.Y. We'll be working until like 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning ET, and it's like, "Dude, let's take a break for a minute." Good way to get our minds off all the craziness.
  • "YELLOWSTONE" is like cowboy-meets-mafia. KEVIN COSTNER plays this figure that's like DON CORLEONE, if Don Corleone was on horseback. I watched the whole series (three seasons) in about a week. That's the best show on TV right now.

JOE'S PICKS:

  • I now understand all the hype around PELOTON. Beyond the hardware, it's such an amazing digital platform. I find it really interesting, especially being in the sports business world, that this is really at the intersection of sports and fitness, and so many athletes are investing in the space. I like ALEX TOUSSAINT a lot, but I also like to mix up the trainers.
  • I've been bingeing some of my favorite shows from the late '90s and early '00s: "THE SOPRANOS," "SEINFELD," "ENTOURAGE" and "ARLI$$." Seeing some business scenarios or, especially, dealing with celebrity clients, a lot of those shows run parallel or have actual use for business cases in the real world.
