Emerald Foundation Announces Esports Program

The Emerald Foundation, a non-profit focused on education, health and youth, is launching a national esports program to engage and empower youth. The program will look to introduce students, particularly female gamers and youth from underserved communities, to esports career options, as well as help them participate in tournaments and scholastic clubs.

Gaming and esports analytics platform GYO Score from Harena Data will be used to power the program. GYO Score’s portal will be used to help gamers create free accounts, which will allow them to play together on the GYO platform, as well as schedule practices and social events with their teams.
