Two Circles Agency Buys Ticketing Sales Specialist Sports Ink

Sports marketing agency Two Circles has acquired ticketing and hospitality consultancy firm Sports Ink Ltd. Two Circles will absorb all existing Sports Ink clients and projects, including the 2022 FIFA men’s World Cup in Qatar, the 2022 UEFA Women’s Euro in England, and the 2022 men’s ICC T20 cricket World Cup in Australia.

Sports Ink founder Paul Williamson will join Two Circles as a full-time director. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but it follows the $45 million deal by Two Circles to acquire sports sponsorship company TRM Partners in November.

London-based Two Circles is owned by sports investment firm Bruin Sports Capital. It provides data-driven marketing services to clients such as the NFL, English Premier League, UEFA, Wimbledon and National Lacrosse League.

“Post-COVID we project a period of record demand for live sports experiences. Sports Ink’s proprietary end-to-end commercial solutions will enable us to tap into this demand and strengthen our ability to reach new audiences,” Two Circles CEO Gareth Balch said in a statement.
