Callaway Lands World No. 2 Jon Rahm In Multiyear Deal

Golfer Jon Rahm has come to "terms on a multi-year club and ball deal with Callaway," according to Jonathan Wall of GOLF.com. In addition to the equipment side of the deal, Rahm "will also wear apparel from TravisMathew." Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Rahm is "currently set to make his debut this week at the Sentry Tournament of Champions with Callaway prototype woods, irons and a Chrome Soft X ball" (GOLF.com, 1/4). GOLFCHANNEL.com's Rex Hoggard notes Rahm had been the offseason's "most high-profile free agent" as it related to equipment. Rahm had played TaylorMade clubs and balls since turning pro in '16 (GOLFCHANNEL.com, 1/4). The deal was negotiated and secured on Rahm's behalf by his agency, Sportfive (THE DAILY).
