Nike's Last "You Can't Stop Us" Spot Features Osaka, Durant, Rashford

The end of '20 brings the final iteration of Nike's "You Can't Stop Us" campaign, and the last chapter, from agency AKQA, S.F., "focuses on how an athlete's mindset can help achieve any goal they set," according to Kyle O'Brien of ADWEEK. Like past spots in the series, the ad features "both professional and amateur athletes pushing themselves to the limit." Athletes are "shown training and competing at the highest levels." Naomi Osaka "smashes tennis balls, Marcus Rashford scores a glorious goal, and Kevin Durant hoists trophies and slams dunks." Additional athletes featured are swimmer Simone Manuel, skateboarder Leo Baker, runner Caster Semenya and fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad. Nike's "You Can't Stop Us" campaign, which began when lockdowns commenced in March, "kept urging us to stay active throughout the year." LeBron James, USWNT F Megan Rapinoe, Serena Williams, "women swimmers in the Middle East, and many unsung athletes were featured in the campaign" over the last 10 months (ADWEEK.com, 12/29).
