Churchill Downs Racetrack promoted VP/Operations MIKE ANDERSON to President. Anderson has 24 years of "both strategic and operational leadership within the company." The racetrack also promoted Senior VP & GM RYAN JORDAN to VP/Operations, Corporate. MIKE ZIEGLER will now become Senior VP & GM of the racetrack, a role he will "serve in while maintaining his current responsibilities" as Exec Dir of Racing for parent company, Churchill Downs Inc. EXECSJORGE VELANDIA, who has "been with the Phillies for a decade in a variety of player development and advisory roles, is now an assistant GM," while veteran executive TERRY RYAN is a "special assistant" to new GM SAM FULD. Ryan had been with the Phillies for four years as a "special assignment scout" (NBCSPORTSPHILADELPHIA.com, 12/22).....Sportfive has named ROB COOLICAN Dir of Business Development. Coolican will help drive revenue generation efforts across all of the agency’s rightsholder and brand service offerings. Coolican comes from GMR Marketing, where he spent the past 12 years leading partnerships and integrated brand campaigns for B2B and B2C clients in Canada and the US (THE DAILY)....The Premier Lacrosse League named Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Manager of Global Partnership Development ZACH FELDMAN Senior VP/Partnerships & Revenue (Adam Stern, Staff Writer).
