NBC To Air Special Celebrating U.S. Figure Skating's 100th Anniversary

NBC on Sunday will air a two-hour figure skating special hosted by the net's Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir. The show, which begins at 2:00pm ET, will celebrate the 100th anniversary of U.S. Figure Skating, featuring past U.S. Championships performances and new interviews with skaters including Nathan Chen, Mariah Bell, Gracie Gold, Meryl Davis and Charlie White. Prevagen is the event’s presenting sponsor. NBC next month will air over 19 hours of coverage of the '21 Toyota U.S. Figure Skating Championships across NBC and NBCSN, concluding with a two-hour “Best Of” show on Jan. 31. The U.S. Championships Skating Spectacular, an edited special, will follow on Feb. 20. NBC’s eight-year media rights deal with U.S. Figure Skating runs through the '25-26 season.
