Audience Analysis: BYU-Coastal Carolina Strong For ESPNU

The hastily-scheduled BYU-Coastal Carolina football game on ESPNU averaged 1.2 million viewers on Saturday in the 5:30pm ET window, marking the network's best college football figure since Western Kentucky-LSU in '15. The audience on Saturday also was ESPNU's fifth-best CFB game on record. When bonus coverage on ESPN2 and streaming is included, the game had an audience of 1.43 million viewers.

BAYOU BLUES: CBS averaged 4.22 million viewers for Alabama's 55-17 win over LSU, marking the matchup's smallest audience in at least 15 years. The same game last year, which was a close 46-41 game of ranked opponents, averaged 16.6 million viewers (the best for the matchup since '11). 

SUPER SEMIS: Univision and TUDN averaged 1.89 million viewers for the Leon-Chivas on Saturday night, marking the best Liga MX semifinal match on any network since Club America-Santos Laguna on May 13, 2018. Leon-Chivas also is the third-best soccer audience of any kind, and on any network, this year to date. On Sunday, the networks averaged 1.81 million viewers for UNAM Pumas-Cruz Azul, which is the fourth-best soccer audience on any network this year to date.
