Nashville SC To Limit Fan Attendance For Play-In Match

Only 1,240 fans will be "permitted to attend" Nashville SC's Play-In round match next Friday against Inter Miami, as the Rock N’ Roll Marathon Health and Fitness Expo had "already scheduled Nissan Stadium as its venue," according to Drake Hills of the Nashville TENNESSEAN. Nashville "would have otherwise been able to allow its season ticket holders that elected to attend matches to fill" up to 21% capacity at the stadium. Instead, fans will be "required to sit in the West Club section, which are 200 level seats." A source indicated that Nashville SC earlier this season "suggested Nov. 20 without fans and Nov. 22 with fans on stadium availability to the MLS." But Hills notes Nov. 22 was "ruled out after the MLS scheduled the next round of playoff matches Nov. 24." The Nashville Marathon is set to take place Nov. 21 (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 11/13).
