DAZN Extends BetMGM Deal, Adding Live Odds Across Boxing Broadcasts

Sports streaming service DAZN has expanded its partnership with BetMGM, making the sportsbook the exclusive odds provider for 12 boxing broadcasts on DAZN. The partnership will span one year and strictly effects DAZN’s U.S. service.

The extended deal began with Saturday’s WBC lightweight championship fight between Devin Haney and Yuriorkis Gamboa. BetMGM originally partnered with DAZN in December to supply betting content around DAZN’s broadcast of the Andy Ruiz Jr. Anthony Joshua heavyweight bout.

All 12 fight nights on DAZN will feature on-screen BetMGM betting odds during broadcasts, as well as co-produced content where DAZN talent and BetMGM experts will discuss wagers for the main event and co-main event. DAZN subscribers located in states where BetMGM’s sports betting app is active will be offered custom betting promotions.

DAZN and BetMGM’s expanded partnership comes as boxing star Canelo Alvarez abruptly ended his $365 million contract with DAZN.
