In Dallas, Evan Grant reports longtime MLB Rangers radio voice Eric Nadel “signed a two-year extension with the club to continue broadcasting games" through at least '22. He is set to call 127 games in ’21, as he has “slightly decreased his workload in recent years.” Nadel, a former Ford Frick Award winner, has been "part of the Rangers' broadcast crew" since '79 and the "lead radio voice" since '95 (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 11/3).

SEASON HIGH IN CHICAGO: The Bears drew their “highest-rated game in the Chicago TV market” this season with Sunday’s 26-23 OT loss to the Saints. The Fox broadcast drew a 31.5 local rating, equating to nearly 1.1 million households. The previous high this season was a Week 6 win over the Panthers, which drew a 28.9 local rating (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 11/2).

SALUTE TO SERVICE: ESPN’s “First Take” on Nov. 13 will “culminate a week of highlighting the armed forces” by airing from Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. Molly Qerim Rose, Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman “will appear virtually, but ESPN’s Doug Kezirian, who hosts the recently launched ‘Daily Wager’ sports betting show from ESPN’s studio at The Linq Hotel, will appear live from the base with an audience of service members” (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 11/2).
