Chiefs TE Travis Kelce "has been busy trying to make a difference in the community and in the world of fashion," according to Travis Meier of K.C-based WDAF-Fox. Kelce: “Since I’ve been here in Kansas City, I’ve started up two things. One being 87 & Running, my foundation, which is a beneficiary of the collaboration we just did with Tru Kolors, my fashion brand." He explained the "collaboration we did with Pepsi was ‘Greetings from Tru Colors, KC,’" which involved Pepsi "buying $10,000 worth of t-shirts for their frontline employees that are out here actually giving Kansas City all the hydration and beverages that they need.” Kelce said of Tru Kolors, “Fashion brand is something I’ve always wanted to get into. I’m a big 90s basketball fan. I grew up in the 90s loving the basketball sneakers, and that’s where fashion really started for me” (FOX4KC.com, 10/26).
