Sacramento Republic FC started "accepting deposits toward suites" at its planned Railyards stadium, according to Ben van der Meer of the SACRAMENTO BUSINESS JOURNAL. Those deposits, $1,000 each, "grant access to planned sneak-preview sessions detailing what the stadium's 27 suites will offer," as well as "first dibs on buying one when they go on sale this winter." Three kinds of suites "will be available," with "eight to 14 seats in each." Republic FC Chief Revenue Officer Dustin Vicari said that the suites will be "incorporated into the stadium about 20 rows up from the field." He added that the number of suites is "based on factors such as square footage and stadium layout," but also "takes into consideration the size of Sacramento as a market." Vicari said to "expect a groundbreaking announcement in coming months" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 10/20). Vicari also said that the "number of suites is similar to other MLS clubs." Republic FC "did not disclose what the total costs for suites are." In Sacramento, Joe Davidson notes the team also is "accepting reserve membership deposits for general seating and club seating" (SACRAMENTO BEE, 10/21).
