Chase Briscoe, Sponsor HighPoint Moving To Cup Series With SHR

HighPoint is committed to Briscoe and has developed a personal relationship with its new ambassadorGETTY IMAGES

NASCAR driver Chase Briscoe will have HighPoint "move with him to the Cup Series as an anchor sponsor" next year when he takes over for Clint Bowyer in the No. 14 Ford at Stewart-Haas Racing, according to Jenna Fryer of the AP. SHR this morning made the news official. Bowyer is moving to the Fox broadcast booth next year, opening the seat that SHR "desperately needed to avoid losing Briscoe." HighPoint, the New Jersey-based tech infrastructure company, is "strongly committed" to Briscoe and has "developed a personal relationship with its new ambassador." A company that previously had "no involvement in NASCAR and never even considered sponsorship" in the sport, HighPoint "pledged the money needed" to get Briscoe another Xfinity season in '20. The deal was "done in January, just weeks before the season began." HighPoint's "career-saving boost" for Briscoe has been "rewarded with a spectacular season," including win No. 9 last week (AP, 10/20).
