Mobile Sportsbook PointsBet to Begin Streaming Live Sports

PointsBet will begin streaming live sports on its betting app and website through its extended partnership with Genius Sports Group. The deal allows PointsBet users to simultaneously watch the action and place in-game wagers.

PointsBet is the first U.S. sportsbook to implement Genius Sports’s Streaming product, which displays official odds data alongside live video of sporting events. According to Sportico, the new agreement will entail livestreams of tennis, soccer, esports, table tennis, and volleyball on PointsBet.

NBC purchased a 4.9% equity stake in PointsBet at the end of August. The PointsBet mobile sportsbook is currently live in New Jersey, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Colorado.
