Barstool CEO Gets a Seat on WWE’s Board of Directors

WWE added Barstool Sports CEO Erika Nardini to its board of directors this week. Prior to joining Barstool, Nardini held executive roles at Microsoft, AOL, Demand Media and Yahoo. She also sits on the advisory board of the Premiere Lacrosse League.

Nardini was named Barstool’s first CEO in 2016. Since then, the company has launched more than 35 brands across sports, entertainment, lifestyle, business and betting. She was behind Barstool’s strategic partnership with casino operator Penn National Gaming, which was announced earlier this year and valued Barstool at $450 million. In September, the companies launched the Barstool Sportsbook app in Pennsylvania, with plans to gradually expand into more states.
