EXECS: Overwatch League Commissioner PETE VLASTELICA "has stepped down" from his role. Vlastelica, who also serves as Activision Blizzard Esports President & CEO, in a statement said he "will transition from his role in ABE to focus on new entrepreneurial ventures on behalf of Activision Blizzard, following the Overwatch League Grand Finals." Vlastelica appointed himself OWL Commissioner after NATE NANZER's "abrupt departure" for Epic Games in May '19 (ESPORTSOBSERVER.com, 10/1)....The Wild named AHL Exec VP/Hockey Operations MICHAEL MURRAY Assistant to the GM. He "will oversee the day-to-day work of the hockey operations department and assist with contract negotiations, player development and scouting" (Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE, 10/2).
