Panthers Tap Honeywell for COVID-19 Protection at Carolina Bank Stadium

The Carolina Panthers will integrate Honeywell’s Healthy Buildings dashboard to monitor their venue’s air quality. Panthers’ staff will use Honeywell’s software to track factors such as carbon dioxide levels, humidity, and occupancy as fans are allowed back into Carolina Bank Stadium.

Fans can enter Carolina Bank Stadium for the first time this season on Oct. 4 when the Panthers host the Arizona Cardinals. Coronavirus restrictions in North Carolina will limit Carolina Bank Stadium to 7% of its normal capacity, meaning it can host about 5,240 fans.

Honeywell, which is based in Charlotte, will also provide masks, hand sanitizer, and cleaning wipes for visiting fans and staff. The company’s Healthy Buildings dashboard is also capable of tracking occupant flow, thermal screening, and body temperature of those inside venues.
