SoFi Stadium, Hollywood Park to Run on Google Cloud

Google has signed a multi-year deal to power digital operations at SoFi Stadium, the new home of the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams. The deal sees YouTube become the official video streaming sponsor for the Rams and Chargers, with more details on that sponsorship to be announced later this year.

There are plans for Deloitte to build a SoFi Stadium mobile app that will run on Google Cloud. The app will show fans available parking within H0llywood Park, which is the 298-acre shopping and entertainment complex that surrounds SoFi Stadium. The app will also store credentials for building, club, and suite entry at SoFi Stadium, which opened this year in Inglewood, Calif.

Businesses at Hollywood Park will receive access to Google Cloud products for storing and analyzing consumer data. Currently, both the Rams and Chargers are not letting fans attend games at SoFi Stadium due to the coronavirus pandemic, and neither team has set a date for when fans could return.
