Media Notes

The N.Y. Post's Andrew Marchand cited sources as saying that Brian Anderson is "expected to be on play-by-play" for the NBA Eastern Conference Finals on TNT. Marv Albert is not in the bubble, and both Kevin Harlan and Ian Eagle "have CBS NFL duties that supersede at this time of year." It is expected that analysts Chris Webber and Reggie Miller will be paired with Anderson, though that is "not official yet" (TWITTER.com, 9/2).

BUYING TIME: Fox is expanding its pregame show, "Big Noon Kickoff," from "one hour to two hours this season," with the show now beginning at 10:00am ET. The show had a "solid debut" last year. Without a Big Ten game at noon this season, the show "could take a viewership hit" (SI.com, 9/2).

LEGAL MATTERS: Steelers and Pitt radio voice Bill Hillgrove "will serve a two-game suspension" from both his NFL and college football roles "after being charged with DUI in June." Steelers President Art Rooney II said that Hillgrove "will return for his 27th season" (TRIBLIVE.com, 9/2).
