Binge Watching With Bucks Sideline & Digital Reporter Zora Stephenson

Stephenson stressed that she enjoys binge watching content that takes her away from the everydayBUCKS

This week, THE DAILY caught up with Bucks sideline & digital reporter ZORA STEPHENSON to break down what's on her watch list. Some responses have been edited for clarity and brevity:

  • I had read something that "SWEET MAGNOLIAS" reminds people of "GILMORE GIRLS" and I loved "Gilmore Girls," so I had to see what all the hype is about. It's just perfect. It's about three best friends in this small Southern town, just navigating life, with their different families and relationships and children.
  • "LOVE IS BLIND" and "MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT" are actually produced by the same people. "Love Is Blind" is where you don't see people, and that's how you fall in love and pick your mate. "Married at First Sight," the first thing you do is get married to a stranger and then get to know them.
  • "OUTER BANKS" for me is something different because normally I'm not necessarily into adventure or suspense that much. It's about these teenage kids and how they navigate their summer, again with their parents and different backgrounds and relationships, love and lust -- whatever you want to call it when you're 16.
  • There are several shows I really love that I find myself coming back to over and over. "THIS IS US" tugs at the heartstrings every single week and puts you in this emotional state where you have to keep returning. "THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA" and "KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS" are just my guilty pleasures. "INSECURE," I see so much of myself in ISSA RAE, just as a young woman coming up in this world trying to find herself.
  • "SELF MADE," the MADAM C.J. WALKER docu-series, is beautifully done. During this time, a lot of us are using our binge watching to also get a history lesson. "Self Made" was something I'm really interested in as a Black woman. It was great to watch.
