Chip Ganassi Racing Names Jason Bitsoff Chief Commercial Officer

Chip Ganassi Racing named Feld Entertainment Senior VP/Global Partnerships JASON BITSOFF to the newly created position of Chief Commercial Officer. Bitsoff will report to CGR Majority Owner CHIP GANASSI and be responsible for revenue generation across the various teams that compete in series including NASCAR, IndyCar and Extreme E. Bitsoff, who will be based in Pittsburgh, worked at Feld for 13 years and helped land a host of sponsorships for Monster Energy Supercross, among other properties. He also has prior stops at the Rockets, Predators and serves as an adjunct professor at Georgetown for its masters of sports industry management program. Ganassi has several blue-chip partners including McDonald's, PNC Bank and Monster Energy -- but it has multiple deals up for renewal after this year and also is building out the new Extreme E platform ahead of the launch of that series in '21.
