MLB’s Field of Dreams Game Postponed to 2021

Major League Baseball’s planned Field of Dreams game has been postponed until August 2021. The game was scheduled to be played this season but has been pushed back due to logistical issues caused by COVID-19.

The Field of Dreams game is inspired by the 1989 baseball movie of the same name. Last year, MLB announced it would begin building an 8,000-seat ballpark in Dyersville, Iowa, on the same location where the movie was filmed.

When the game is played next August, it will be the first regular season MLB game played in Iowa. Next season's game will feature the Chicago White Sox, but their opponent has yet to be determined.
