BodyArmor Adds More Big Names To Roster Of Athlete Endorsers

BodyArmor today added a host of new athletes to its roster of endorsers, bringing on Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey, WNBA N.Y. Liberty G Sabrina Ionescu, Celtics G Kemba Walker, Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb, Broncos QB Drew Lock and Braves RF Ronald Acuña Jr. Hawks G Trae Young also is part of today's rollout, but news of his affiliation broke last week. BodyArmor, currently at No. 3 in market share for the energy drink sector in the U.S., already had a pro athlete roster that included Angels CF Mike Trout, Rockets G James Harden, USWNT F Megan Rapinoe, tennis player Naomi Osaka, LAFC F Carlos Vela, golfer Dustin Johnson, WNBA Phoenix Mercury Gs Skylar Diggins-Smith and Diana Taurasi, Jazz G Donovan Mitchell, Dodgers RF Mookie Betts, Cubs 1B Anthony Rizzo, Saints DE Cam Jordan, 49ers CB Richard Sherman and Seahawks LB Bobby Wagner. BodyArmor in June rolled a new $20M marketing campaign -- the biggest in company history -- as it continues to boost expansion efforts in the wake of a large investment by Coca-Cola in '18. The energy drink in January also signed a deal to become the official drink of MLS, and has the same distinction with the UFC.
