Purdue Activates New $10M Ross-Ade Stadium Video Board

The $10M Daktronics video board in the the south end zone of Purdue's Ross-Ade Stadium, "one of the largest in college football," was activated "for the first time" this week, according to Sam King of the Lafayette JOURNAL & COURIER. The new 56-feet, 9-inch by 150-feet, 4-inch video board had some "noticeable touches added." The word "Purdue" was added "atop the video board and can be seen easily from the parking lot beyond the north end zone." The new video board is "four times larger than the previous one and is the first HDR board in college football" (Lafayette JOURNAL & COURIER, 7/10).
