TNT's Marv Albert Won't Be On Site For NBA's Orlando Return

TNT's Marv Albert "will not be part" of the network's on-site coverage when the NBA resumes its season this month at Disney World in Orlando, according to Andrew Marchand of the N.Y. POST. Though the NBA is planning to have its national announcers on site, COVID-19 has "impacted people of all ages, but has been more dire for those 65 years and older." In addition to the 79-year-old Albert, 86-year-old ESPN analyst Hubie Brown also "may not be in Orlando." Albert said that he was "growing more excited about participating on-site, but that was dampened with the recent surge of cases in Florida." A Turner spokesperson said that Albert "will contribute some commentary remotely" (N.Y. POST, 7/1).
