AAC Reports $73.2M In Total Revenue For FY '18-19

The AAC reported $73.2M in total revenue for FY '18-19, which is a "slight decrease -- nearly 6% -- from the previous fiscal year" during which the AAC reported $77.79M in total revenue, according to Matt Murschel of the ORLANDO SENTINEL. Despite the decline, the conference reported nearly $3M in profit after posting $70.235M in expenses. The conference earned $40.1M from "postseason tournaments, including revenue generated from the shares in the 2019 NCAA men's and women's basketball tournaments as well as bowl game payouts along with the league's share" from the CFP. The league also earned $6.090M in "NCAA sponsorships and grants" and $3.038M in "revenue off conference championships." Murschel noted the AAC reported $22.726M in "revenue from television and radio rights through its deals with ESPN and CBS Sports." AAC Commissioner Mike Aresco made $1.929M in compensation during FY '18-19, up slightly from $1.883M the previous year (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 6/28).
