Detroit Pistons star forward Blake Griffin is hosting The Pursuit of Healthiness, a new podcast dedicated to discussing mental and physical health. The first season of the podcast will be available exclusively on Audible, the audio entertainment platform owned by Amazon, starting Aug. 4.
The podcast will be produced by OBB Media, and Audible has already approved production for a second season. Griffin will interview entrepreneurs, health experts and fellow athletes to discuss topics such as learning how to eat healthier, masculinity, sexuality, vulnerability, self-care and mental health.
Guests appearing on the first season of Griffin’s podcast include actor Michael B. Jordan, meditation app Headspace founder Andy Puddicombe, NASA’s head of nutrition and biochemistry Scott M. Smith, and Dave Asprey, who created the Bulletproof diet. Queer Eye star Antonio Porowski, fashion model Karlie Kloss, and Paralympic skier and rower Oksana Masters will also be interviewed in the debut season.
“As a professional athlete, I’ve been pushing my physical abilities to the limit for as long as I can remember and have always been incredibly fascinated by what the mind and body can do. Now, more than ever, wellness of both body and mind is crucial,” Griffin said in a press release.
