Sources: "SEC Nation" Will Have New Look For Football Season

SEC Network's Saturday morning show "SEC Nation" will have a "total face-lift this college football season," with game analyst Jordan Rodgers being "added to the show, as Paul Finebaum and Marcus Spears exit," according to sources cited by Andrew Marchand of the N.Y. POST. ESPN's Laura Rutledge is "set to return as the program's host." Finebaum and Spears are "leaving SEC Network's version of 'GameDay' on their own accord." Finebaum, who was on the program for six years, "will continue on his radio/TV show and his many appearances on ESPN." Spears is "receiving a promotion as he will appear more regularly on the revamped 'NFL Live.'" Meanwhile, Rodgers, 31, "will have a Kirk Herbstreit-type position on SECN." Herbstreit does ESPN's "GameDay" studio show and then calls a game at night. Rodgers is "expected to do the same on the SEC" (N.Y. POST, 6/18).
