Ducks Initiate Pay Cuts For Staff With Salaries Over $75,000

The Ducks have initiated pay cuts of 20-25% “for employees whose annual salaries are $75,000 or more across all entities owned by Susan and Henry Samueli,” according to Helene Elliott of the L.A. TIMES. In addition to the Ducks, that includes Anaheim Arena Management, the AHL San Diego Gulls, the Samueli Family office, and the Rinks. A Ducks spokesperson said that “slightly fewer than 500 employees were affected.” The spokesperson added that no employee “had been furloughed but a minimal number of jobs had been eliminated as part of a standard restructuring process” (L.A. TIMES, 6/16). There are "nearly 500 full-time employees" of the Ducks, Gulls, Honda Center and The Rinks (L.A. DAILY NEWS, 6/16).
