NBC's Peacock Service To Live Stream EPL Matches This Month

Live sports will be coming to Peacock for the first time later this month. The NBC-owned streaming service will carry seven EPL soccer games during the first three weeks of the league's restart, beginning with the Bournemouth-Crystal Palace match June 20 at 2:45pm ET. The match will simulcast on NBC Sports Gold, but will not be available on any of NBC’s linear TV channels. Peacock officially launches nationwide July 15, though Comcast Xfinity subscribers gained access to it last month. So far, the service is comprised mainly of movies and TV shows. It has been unclear how live sports will fit into its lineup, other than plans to stream some Olympic and Ryder Cup events. When NBC picked up the rights to an extra NFL Wild Card playoff game next January, it made sure to include rights to stream it via Peacock. This Premier League schedule shows that Peacock plans to incorporate more live sports into the service.
