NBC Sports Debuting Podcast Series Across Its RSNs This Week

NBC Sports Regional Networks will debut a podcast series called "Sports Uncovered" across its RSNs this week. The six-episode series -- one from each of NBC’s RSNs -- launches Thursday with a pod on Michael Jordan's "I'm Back" fax announcing his '95 return to the NBA. Produced by NBC Sports Chicago, the pod will feature interviews with David Falk, Steve Kerr, Chris Mullin and Dominique Wilkins. Mike Tirico will provide the intro to each podcast. This marks NBC's first cross-RSN podcast initiative. Other topics include "The Bill Belichick You Don't Know" from NBC Sports Boston, which will be released June 4; "The Uniform Craze that Revolutionized College Football" from NBC Sports Northwest about the University of Oregon (June 11); "Sean Taylor, the NFL Superstar We Didn't Get to Know," from NBC Sports Washington, which will be released June 18; "Marathon on Ice" from NBC Sports Philadelphia about the Flyers-Penguins seven-hour playoff game from '00 (June 25); and "The Mysterious Disappearance that Changed a Super Bowl" from NBC Sports Bay Area about former Raider Barret Robbins, who was suspended from Super Bowl XXVII (July 2).
