Charlotte MLS Expansion Club Has Over 7,000 Season Ticket Deposits

The Charlotte MLS expansion club, which as of now is scheduled to debut in '21, has around 7,450 season ticket deposits, according to club VP/Ticket Sales & Service Joe LaBue, who serves the same role for the NFL Panthers. That figure equates to about 24,000 seats. LaBue shared the information via a series of calls with the Mint City Collective, a supporters group formed in '19. He added that when the team name and branding is finally announced, Charlotte will probably surpass 30,000 seats, with a target of 34,000 season tickets. LaBue said the team has not made a decision yet on personal seat licenses. Furthermore, though no decision has been made, the supporters’ section is unlikely to have PSLs.
