NBSCA Signs Three-Year Deal With Kinduct

The National Basketball Strength and Conditioning Association has signed a three-year deal with online athlete management system Kinduct. Testing protocols used by NBSCA coaches to evaluate NBA players will now be integrated into Kinduct for its clients across all sports and skill levels to observe.

Members of the NBSCA include head and assistant strength and conditioning coaches from NBA teams. Kinduct’s platform will now add certified programs from NBSCA for measuring an athlete’s speed, power, agility and flexibility. More than half of teams in the NBA currently use Kinduct, which is capable of integrating with wearable tracking devices to collect athlete performance data. Users can also upload data pertaining to an athlete’s injury history.

“Kinduct is a premier service for athlete management systems, and their platform has the ability to consolidate a vast amount of data which will give any athlete or team a competitive advantage,” Daniel Shapiro, head of strength and conditioning for the Los Angeles Clippers and president of the NBSCA, said in a press release.

About 500 teams, leagues and organizations around the world use Kinduct’s cloud-based management system, including teams across MLB, the NFL, the NHL and the NCAA.  The company also signed league-wide data collection deals with Major League Lacrosse and the now-defunct XFL.
