An MSG spokesperson said that Exec Chair & CEO James Dolan has "fully recovered from the coronavirus," according to Stefan Bondy of the N.Y. DAILY NEWS. The 64-year-old Knicks and NHL Rangers owner, who was "self-quarantining at his home in the Hamptons, had tested positive last month." At the time, MSG stated that Dolan's case was "mild and he exhibited 'little to no' symptoms." Bondy notes Dolan "represents the first known NBA owner to contract the coronavirus" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 4/23). In N.Y., Larry Brooks reports Dolan had "mild symptoms that included a loss of smell." Now, having recovered, he is "immersed in the effort to medically combat the virus by volunteering to participate in multiple clinical trials." He has "donated blood to NYU Langone Health and Duke University Medical Center." In addition, Dolan has "registered to donate plasma antibodies for a large multicenter through the New York Blood Center and Mt. Sinai." People who test negative for coronavirus after having tested positive "must have a high volume of antibodies in order to become a donor" (N.Y. POST, 4/23).
