Activision Blizzard named Google President of Global Retail & Shopping DANIEL ALEGRE President & COO, effective April 7. Alegre will "oversee the Activision Publishing, Blizzard Entertainment and King Digital Entertainment businesses" and will report directly to CEO BOBBY KOTICK. Current Activision Blizzard President & COO CODDY JOHNSON will "continue on as a special advisor to Kotick" (HOLLYWOODREPORTER.com, 3/11)....ESPN promoted STACEY FITCH to Senior VP/Production Operations, a position where she oversees more than 700 employees, including studio tech staffs in Bristol and Charlotte (John Ourand, THE DAILY)....USA Cycling announced the return of JIM MILLER as Head of Elite Athletics. He replaces SCOTT SCHNITZSPAHN, who resigned earlier this week (AP, 3/11).
