Buzz Around Suns' Arena Renovations Should Help Ticket Sales

The majority of arena renovations will be done by next season, including a new experience for luxury seatingSUNS

The Suns said that there already is "plenty of excitement around getting tickets for next season," as Talking Stick Resort Arena next season will look "completely different and have more offerings for premium tickets holders, including exclusive bars and clubs," according to Brandon Brown of the PHOENIX BUSINESS JOURNAL. When the team's season concludes in April, the arena "will be closed down and the majority of work will be completed before games start again in October." The entire $230M renovation will be finished in summer '21, but Suns leadership said that the majority of work "will be done by next season, including a new experience for luxury seating." Suns CRO & Senior VP/Business Innovation Dan Costello said that his team has "begun reaching out to current season ticket holders for floor seats and the first few rows and the renewal rate is near 80%." There has been "a lot of interest from people wanting to get up close." Brown noted another aspect helping sell these seats is the "access they give to club-seating areas on the arena's east and west sides" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/24).
