Inter Miami's jerseys feature a white base, pink accents on buttons and sleeves and embossed heronsINTER MIAMI CF

MLS expansion club Inter Miami CF unveiled its home jerseys, and the club said that they are "inspired by the wings of the great white heron and accented by pink to 'reflect the vibrant soul of South Florida,'" according to Khobi Price of the South Florida SUN SENTINEL. The jerseys feature a white base, pink accents on buttons and sleeves and "embossed herons that are supposed to represent freedom and strength." The club's mantra, “Freedom to Dream,” is "on the inside of the collar." A sponsorship logo is "absent from the jerseys" despite reports saying that the club agreed to a sponsorship deal with Qatar Airways, which "drew criticism because of the country’s various human rights issues." The club on Feb. 5 unveiled its away jersey, “The RosaNegra," which "features pink stripes over a black base" (South Florida SUN SENTINEL, 2/25). In Miami, Michelle Kaufman notes single-game tickets to Inter Miami’s home debut on March 14 against the Galaxy "have sold out," while "fewer than 1,000 season tickets remain" for this season (MIAMI HERALD, 2/25). SPORTS BUSINESS JOURNAL this week caught up with Inter Miami co-Owners Jorge Mas and David Beckham to look at the long journey to landing a franchise (SPORTS BUSINESS JOURNAL, 2/24 issue).
