Buyers & Sellers: Jay Wright Selling Philly-Area Home For $2.5M

Villanova men's basketball coach JAY WRIGHT is "putting his home on the market" for $2.495M. The five-acre property in Berwyn, Penn., has a main house with "more than 6,200 square feet of living space with five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and two half-baths." The property also features a pool and renovated pool house with a full bathroom (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/14).

COACHES' CORNER: Former NBA Kings coach DAVE JOERGER has "sold his equestrian property" in Shingle Springs, Calif., for $1.56M. The 10-acre El Dorado county ranch has a "two-story, 4,564-square-foot main residence," which features five bedrooms, four baths and a "huge kitchen." Away from the main residence, there are "guest quarters, a gym and stocked pond" (SACRAMENTO BEE, 2/15)....Former Packers interim coach JOE PHILBIN listed his Hobart, Wisc. home for $799,900. The house, located on the Thornberry Creek at Oneida golf course, is 5,491 square feet with five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 2/18).

HOF HOMES: Pro Football HOFer LARRY ALLEN sold his Bay Area home for $4M, "roughly 47% less than his original price tag" of $7.5M. In '04, Allen paid $4.595M for the property, which "centers on a 10,000-square-foot mansion with seven bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms and a host of amenities across two stories." The home includes a "movie theater, gym, sauna and indoor spa with a fireplace," as well as an "infinity pool, sports court and patio with golf course views." A motor court and six-car garage "anchor the front of the property" (L.A. TIMES, 2/20)....Baseball HOFer BILL MAZEROSKI put his Hempfield, Penn., home "on the auction block, less than three months after he auctioned off memorabilia" from his career. Bids on the home are "scheduled to be taken at the house on March 22." The 1,700-square-foot home has three bedrooms and sits on 19.6 acres (TRIBLIVE.com, 2/18).

BUYERS & SELLERS: CARMELO ANTHONY is listing his Manhattan home for $12.85M. The 4,556-square-foot apartment "takes up the entire fifth floor of a 10-story building." The space, "reachable via private elevator," has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and "white oak floors" (Syracuse POST-STANDARD, 2/19)....Jazz G JORDAN CLARKSON is listing his Cape Cod-style home in L.A. for $3.35M. The two-story home sits on "about a third of an acre," and has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms in 5,800 square feet of space (L.A. TIMES, 2/19).....Bears C CODY WHITEHAIR bought a four-bedroom, 2,896-square foot Vernon Hills home from his teammate, LB LEONARD FLOYD, for $545,000. The home has 3.5 bathrooms, a "newly remodeled kitchen" and a finished basement (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 2/14).
