The upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago will feature numerous 5G activation features powered by AT&T. Even the All-Star Game at the United Center will be the first 5G-powered NBA All-Star Game.

TNT’s broadcasts of both the ASG and Slam Dunk Contest will feature AT&T’s 5G Courtside Cam hosted by Shaquille O’Neal. The courtside camera will feature unique angles of each event captured by Samsung’s Galaxy S20+ 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G smartphones.

STATE OF THE INDUSTRY: Make Sure You’re at the World’s Premier Sports Tech Event (March 26–27 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn)

Fans inside the United Center with 5G-enabled devices will be able to connect to AT&T’s 5G network inside the arena. AT&T will also host 5G-powered virtual experiences for fans from Feb.14–16 at Chicago locations such as Navy Pier and AT&T’s flagship Michigan Avenue store. The activations will include a virtual multi-player 3-point competition and one where users create a video of 3D images of themselves virtually dunking over iconic Chicago landmarks.
