Cincinnati Wings Joint Taking Over Popular Space At Reds' Ballpark

The new space will be open to all fans, and Buffalo Wings & Rings will also get signage in GABPBUFFALO WINGS & RINGS

Cincinnati-based Buffalo Wings & Rings this MLB season is taking over Great American Ball Park's "prominent restaurant space down the left field line just beyond the foul pole," previously known as the Machine Room, according to Steve Watkins of the CINCINNATI BUSINESS COURIER. The move comes as part of Buffalo Wings & Rings' partnership with Delaware North, the Reds' concessionaire. Buffalo Wings & Rings Senior National Local Store Marketing Manager Danieal Barratt said that the Reds "made the change" after the restaurant wanted to "expand its sponsorship of the team," now entering its fourth year as a Reds sponsor. The space in GABP will be open to all fans, and Buffalo Wings & Rings also will "get its name and brand displayed" at various other spots around the venue. Reds VP/Corporate Partnerships Bill Reinberger said that the team "considered at least a dozen concepts for the Machine Room in the past, but this is the first one that looks like a good fit." Buffalo Wings & Rings' Reds sponsorship deal runs through '24, and Barratt said that the restaurant will further "take advantage of the sponsorship by hosting Reds watch parties at its restaurants and providing customers with opportunities" to attend games (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/12).
