Nets C DEANDRE JORDAN listed his Tuscan-style estate overlooking the ocean in Malibu for $9.995M. The 8,800-square-foot mansion sits on 3.5 acres and has 2,000 square feet of deck space. Custom-built in '06, the house has three stories with "six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and loads of amenities," including a "movie theater, elevator, underground wine cellar and billiards room with a bar" (L.A. TIMES, 2/4).

CALIFORNIA LIVING: Marlins LF MATT KEMP sold his custom estate in Poway, Calif., for $4.3M. The 15,844-square-foot mansion outside Escondido, built in '03, has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and features a "1,200-bottle wine cellar, a cigar lounge and a theater with a snack bar." A private elevator "services each floor." Roughly four acres of grounds include a "tennis court, a swimming pool, fountain features and hedged gardens." The guest house has a "game room, gym and a steam room" (L.A. TIMES, 2/4)....Lakers Controlling Owner & CEO JEANIE BUSS purchased a condo in the Playa Del Rey neighborhood of L.A. for $2.6M. The unit is in The Breakers, a development right by the beach. The price is the "most ever paid for a home there." The 2,200-square-foot home has "four bedrooms and three bathrooms" (L.A. SWING AWAY: Golfer LOUIS OOSTHUIZENsold his home in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., for $5.5M to a "company controlled by" Cardinals 1B PAUL GOLDSCHMIDT. The 10,428-square-foot home was "built on the 1.03-acre site along a lake" in '14. It is in the Old Palm Golf Club neighborhood. It has "seven bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, a golf simulator/theater projector, a bar, a pool, a summer kitchen, a fireplace and a putting green" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/3)....GARY PLAYER listed his mountain retreat in Marietta, S.C., for $4.5M. Inspired by his native country of South Africa, the stone-clad home "overlooks The Cliffs at Mountain Park -- a golf course that Player designed himself." The estate spans 2.6 acres and features walking trails. An entertainer's patio "descends to an infinity pool with underwater speakers and sweeping mountain views." The 6,800-square-foot home has five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms (L.A. TIMES, 1/30).
