Bedrock Detroit CEO MATT CULLEN said that Cavaliers Owner DAN GILBERT is "'getting out to the office a lot more' since his serious stroke last spring and remains involved in his companies." Cullen said, "He's still making all the big decisions." Gilbert, 58, has made "few public appearances since his stroke Memorial Day weekend" last year (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 1/30).

HONORS & AWARDS: The Atlanta Sports HOF announced the following inductees: MORTEN ANDERSEN, CALVIN JOHNSON, DIKEMBE MUTOMBO, GARLAND PINHOLSTER, GARY STOKAN and MARGARET MATTHEWS. The induction ceremony is "planned for Feb. 8" at the College Football HOF. Stokan is the Peach Bowl President & CEO, but he served as Atlanta Sports Council President from '88-'09. In that role, Stokan played a "significant role in elevating Atlanta's status in the sports world, particularly in college football" (ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION, 1/30)....Canadian golfer BROOKE HENDERSON and TSN broadcaster JAMES DUTHIE are "among those receiving a key" to the city of Ottawa (OTTAWA CITIZEN, 1/30).

NAMES: PGA Tour Commissioner JAY MONAHAN "will compete" in next week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and "will be paired" with HARRY HIGGS. Last year, Monahan had his dad, JOE, on the bag and partnered with KEITH MITCHELL. Monahan's dad, a 76-year-old lawyer out of Boston, is "scheduled to play with Mitchell" (GOLFWEEK.com, 1/29)....Phillies P AARON NOLA and Mariners 1B AUSTIN NOLA, brothers who both played college baseball at LSU, will "host a celebrity bowling event" tonight to "raise money for ALS awareness" (Baton Rouge ADVOCATE, 1/30)....CRISTIANO RONALDO has "become the first person in the world to reach 200 million followers on Instagram" (ESPN.com, 1/30)....Cable TV network E! has "greenlit 'THE BRADSHAW BUNCH,' which will follow" Pro Football HOFer TERRY BRADSHAW and his family in "their 'real-life hijinks.'" Bradshaw's wife, TAMMY, his daughters, RACHEL, LACEY and ERIN, and his grandchildren will be featured (PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE, 1/30).
